A humanitarian organization led by volunteers that provides comfort, food, and shelter to individuals and families hit by tornados, fires, or floods.

The American Red Cross provides emergency communication services for active-duty military members, National Guard and Reserve members, veterans and their families.  We also provide support for family members in obtaining emergency financial support.  Our local chapter also provides rides for veterans to medical appointments.

Services Available:  Community Partners provides in home assistance to families to help them discover and connect with available supports and services.  A local community liaison is assigned to each family and works with them to develop and achieve their goals.  Goals are decided by the family and can relate to any need including housing, employment, education, food, transportation, utilities, budgeting, parenting information, medical issues.  All services are completely free and voluntary, no insurance or Medicaid is required and all families with children are eligible.

Patient  are to be uninsured and not be on Medicaid. Since we have no Dr. at the time our services are limited to dressing changes, blood pressure checks, blood sugar checks and assistance with payment of some prescriptions. We can also assist with referral to DDS for teeth extraction(s). We are unable to do physicals or examinations.

On the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 12- 3 pm we offer free, confidential HIV, Syphilis and Hep C testing.  The clinic operates at the Milligan Presbyterian Church. The Adult Health Clinic is a program of the Christian Nursing Service.
