Community volunteers are appointed by the courts to represent the best interests of children abuse and neglect victims and in custody cases. Any child declared by the Montgomery County Courts to be in need of services can be matched with a CASA volunteer.

The goal of the council is to prevent child abuse. The council provides “Bags of Love” for all new parents at St. Clare Medical Center, teaches personal safety classes in the county schools, holds parenting workshops, and “Awareness Fun Day”.

Provides drug prevention education in Montgomery County. Focuses on bringing usable resources to the community on all drugs with a specific focus on tobacco, alcohol, marijuana, methamphetamine, and prescription drugs. Free services include: smoking cessation counseling for youth and adults; presentations, written and on-line resources, trainings, and referrals.
